From observational behavior to computational structure

The research investigated how computational methods could help identify behavioral patterns and social organization in RFID-derived laboratory animal data.

02 / Methods

Data mining applied to behavioral science

Computational approaches

  • Cluster-oriented pattern discovery
  • Association-rule mining concepts
  • Graph/network representation of interactions
  • RFID-derived behavioral event data

Research contribution
